It Ought To Be Illegal
Visit sites like www.freeauthnet.com, where they say FREE, FREE, FREE, and you'll expect to get something for free. But you won't! What you'll end up doing is paying too much. While Paybyweb charges only $6.95/mo and .18 per transaction with FREE SETUP, They charge a $39.95 setup fee, $15.95/mo and .10 per transaction. Which sounds like a better deal to you?
But wait, there's more...When you see things like FREE license fees, FREE programming fees, etc. all we can say is they ought to be free, because THEY DON'T EXIST! Authorize.net did away with license fees years ago. There IS NO LICENSE FEE! They charge an activation (we waive the fee), monthly service fee, and a per transaction fee. As for programming fee. Programming what? There is no programming. It's just a way to make you think you are getting something. Too bad it's not true.

It also provides a virtual terminal that can be used to manually enter credit card transactions via the Internet. An Internet/Mail order Phone Order merchant account does NOT work without a gateway. Absolutely! You can enter orders to charge daily, weekly, monthly etc.. You can even pre-set the number of payments requested. The recurring billing functionality is totally customizeable. This optional service is available at a surcharge. |

Glad you asked. Authorize.net is the Worlds Largest gateway provider. They integrate with virtually every shopping cart provider, 99% of all carts available today. In most cases, setting up your Authorize.net gateway to work with your shopping cart is easy as entering in a login and password. |
